About Us

Sunflower Natural Foods was first opened by Sharon Bordon Stephenson in 1993, offering organic and natural foods, bulk foods, herbs, spices and teas, supplements, RO water, homeopathic remedies, personal care products and more. In 1999, Elton and Jane Moyer took over, and from then, their family ran the store for over 23 years.

Chris and Tricia McCalla ran the store ran the store from July 2022 until November 2024, and have passed the baton to our family. We are originally from the heart of Amish country in North Central Ohio, but due to work travels, have decided to settle near Westcliffe. We have spent many years following the natural, organic, and healthy trends, choosing to feed our kids the best we could, so this store in this community is something we want to support and be apart of.
